Ese día, entre 101 personas que perdieron la vida, murieron once magistrados que representaban la conciencia jurídica del país. Su sacrificio hoy puede referirse como el día en que el Estado y la sociedad abandonaron a su suerte a la justicia...y Colombia pagó las consecuencias.
En este documental se enfrentan las realidades del pasado con la lucha del presente. “El Palacio de Justicia” reúne en un solo documental y por primera vez a los protagonistas principales y más relevantes de los hechos que dividió la historia moderna de Colombia en dos.
For the first time after 25 years, justice seems to have found the social environment and the evidence that will let them understand what happened on 6 and 7 November 1985 at The Palace of Justice of Colombia. Indígenas de la comunidad Wayúu, de la zona de la península de La Guajira colombiana, luchan por recuperar sus nombres verdaderos, que los blancos un día les robaron. Cuenta la tradición oral que a cada Wayúu, cuando nace, se le asigna un nombre que carga el designio de lo que vino a hacer en la Tierra. Así, por ejemplo, Toushi es cuidador de la tierra, Juya es cuidador del agua, Noshua es apaciguador de los ánimos. Como estos nombres un día fueron arrancados de su historia oficial, esta casta indígena se ha puesto en la tarea de recuperarlos, porque recuperar sus nombres es recuperar su historia, su memoria, su identidad, su espejo, el mapa de su camino.
Cuesta creer y no es una historia de ficción, sino una verdad indignante que en estas rancherías, en estos parajes desérticos de arena y cactus, de cielo azul profundo y sol canicular, los habitantes se llaman Montallantas, Motosierra, Yamamoto, Goodyear, Alkaseltzer, Eme Diecinueve, Tarzán, Bolsillo o Raspahierro. Y que además, todos ellos nacieron un 31 de diciembre.
Aborigens of the community Wayúu, located in the Colombian peninsula of Guajira, they fight to recover their real names that the whites one day stole from them. It counts the oral tradition that to every Wayúu, when it is born, assigns a name that enclose the plan what they came to do on Earth. For example, Toushi is a keeper of the land, Juya is a keeper of the water, Noshua is a pacifier of the spirits.
These names one day were started of his official history; this indigenous caste has put in the task of recovering them, because to recover their names is to recover their history, their memory, their identity, their mirror, the map of their path.
It is hard to believe and is not a tale or fiction, but an outrageous truth that in these rancherías, in these desert place of sand and cactus, of blue deep sky and the midsummer Sun, the inhabitants are called themselves Yamamoto Montallantas, Mechanical saw, Goodyear, Alkaseltzer, Eme Diecinueve, Tarzán, Pocket or Raspahierro. And also, all of them were born on December 31.

El dirigente liberal y candidato a la presidencia de la República de Colombia, Luís Carlos Galán, fue asesinado en el pueblo de Soacha, situado al sur de Bogotá, por orden de los grandes capos del Cartel de Medellín, Pablo Escobar y Gonzalo Rodríguez Gacha. El estudio de los móviles, la planeación del crimen y sus repercusiones sobre la política nacional son los elementos centrales del documental.
Se muestra por primera vez una analices completo de la preparación y ejecución del crimen, usando testigos presenciales, expertos forenses y en balística. The liberal leader and candidate to the presidency of the Republic of Colombia, Luis Carlos Gallant, was murdered in the town of Soacha, located to the south of Bogota, by order of the top kingpins of Medellín Cartel, Pablo Escobar and Gonzalo Rodriguez Gacha.
The study of the motives, the planning of the crime and its repercussions on the national policy are the central elements of the documentary. A complete analysis of the preparation and execution of the crime is shown the first time, using eyewitnesses, forensic and ballistics experts. The moment of the murder is recreates, and it shall be the first time the TV audience watches the crime from several different angles: from that of the man who fired the shots to that os the ones who tried to drive him to different hospitals to save his life.

Con las sesiones en curso, el viernes 9 de abril al mediodía, el popular caudillo Jorge Eliecer fue asesinado.La encolerizada población tomó las calles en un incontrolable arranque que dejó cientos de ciudadanos muertos, extendiéndose a todo el país.
El Bogotazo es un episodio remarcable que dividió la historia de Colombia en dos y aumentó la violencia que ya estaba creciendo en algunas regiones del país, Hoy presentamos un análisis retrospectivo sobre los recuerdos y efectos de este hito.
The death of Jorge Eliécer Gaitán in 1948 triggered the popular wrath that threw hundreds of dead and took step to a civil war that has lasted more than 60 years. This it is the definitive document of an event that it changed to Colombia for always. In 1948 painful events they changed by root the history of Colombia of century XX. Bogota, the Colombian capital, was prepared to receive the delegations of IX the Pan-American Conference that gave rise to the OAS.
